The Krubera Cave, located in a disputed territory along the border of Georgia in eastern Europe is the worlds deepest cave. The official recorded depth of the deepest part of Krubera is 2,197 meters or 7,208 feet. For a bit of perspective that”s six-and-a-half Eiffel Towers stacked on top of each other end to end. These stunning photos give just a taste of its real scale and grandeur. Since the Krubera Caves initial discovery in 1960 scientists have attempted to explore and catalogue its secrets.
